1. Overview

Agent Smith is a static analysis plugin for Claude Code. It analyzes configuration files on your local machine and does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.

2. What Agent Smith Accesses

Agent Smith reads the following files from your local project directory during analysis:

• .claude/ directory contents (settings.json, hooks.json, commands, agents, skills, rules)
• CLAUDE.md and other instruction files at the project root
• .claudeignore and .gitignore
• .claude/agent-smith-history.json (score history, stored locally)
• Auto-memory files in ~/.claude/projects/ (local to your machine)
• Project manifest files (package.json, requirements.txt, etc.) for project type detection

All file access is local. No files are copied, uploaded, or transmitted to any external server.

3. What Agent Smith Creates

Agent Smith may create or modify the following files with explicit confirmation:

• AGENT_SMITH_REPORT.md — analysis report
• .claude/agent-smith-history.json — score history for progress tracking
• Configuration files during /create-agent scaffolding or /analyze-agent fix execution

These files remain on your local machine.

4. Data Collection

Agent Smith does not collect any data:

• No telemetry or analytics
• No network requests
• No data sent to external servers
• No cookies or tracking
• No user accounts or authentication
• No personal information processed

5. Data Storage

All data is stored as local files on your machine. Agent Smith does not use any external storage.

6. Third-Party Services

Agent Smith does not integrate with any third-party services. It operates entirely within the Claude Code runtime.

7. Open Source

Agent Smith is released under the MIT License. The full source code is available at github.com/maxencemeloni/claude-code-agent-smith.

8. Children's Privacy

Agent Smith does not collect any personal data from any user, including children.

9. Changes to This Policy

Any updates to this privacy policy will be reflected on this page. Given the nature of the plugin, changes are expected to be minimal.
